Pilates offers a synergistic full body workout that emphasizes balancing our body's ability to move efficiently in our daily living activities - most other forms of exercise are not as comprehensive or as quick to develop the body's ability to perform.
What is a Core Studio Pilates Private session?
A Core Studio private session involves one-on-one focused attention between your Core Studio certified trainer, you and the exercise. The private session allows for a personalized program to be developed to meet your goals and work with any special needs you may have.
What is a Core Studio Pilates Semi-Private session?
A Core Studio semi-private session is a two-on-one focused workout session that allows for two individuals to work together with one trainer. These sessions provide the personal attention at a reduced price to each client.
What is Core Studio Mat Pilates?
Im=X, STOTT and Classical Mat Pilates offer Core Studio clients the opportunity to learn the fundamental techniques and principles developed over 100 years ago by Joseph Pilates. Practiced on a floor mat, our mat class may incorporate the Magic Circle, thera-bands, light weight body bars and other small equipment.
What is Core Studio Xercizer Bed Pilates?
Core Studio Im=X Xercizer Bed Pilates uses the Xercizer Bed, derived from Joseph Pilates' original Reformer bed. The bed allows an individual to work with resistance, movement and variation of position to incorporate the use of every muscle group starting with the deepest core muscles. .
If I have an injury or am in physical therapy, can I do Core Studio Pilates?
Yes, in fact, many current Core Studio clients are referrals from their physicians, physical therapists and chiropractors, to name a few. Pilates can be easily modified for anyone because of its focus on posture, alignment and symmetry of the body.
Do I need an appointment to train at Core Studio?
Yes. Appointments can be made by phone or by contacting us online, and a free consultation can be arranged according to your scheduling needs - our hours start as early as 7 am and continue up until 8 pm.
What is a Core Studio Passport?
This allows you to purchase as many classes as you want, and sign up for them at your convenience. Packages are available, for a single class or up to 24 classes. See our price list for more information.

I'm a runner. How will Core Studio Pilates help me?
You will learn how to work with control from the inside of your body, instead of relying exclusively on your limbs to generate the strength and energy it requires to run, especially long distances. The mind/body connection is also exercised along with muscle strength, balance and flexibility.
I'm an extreme athlete/triathlete. How will Core Studio Pilates help me?
